Steve Cheung Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Dear Friends, Any one have experience in link from the main Q series to another Q series and FX2N series using radio modem? What communication module we should use in each site? Thanks & best regards Quote
mikeb Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Try Westermo modems, they seem to have 'got together' with Mitsubishi. They work over a landline and I know they do other types. MikeB Quote
Crossbow Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 I've used Data-Linc wireless Ethernet between 2 Qs before. Worked fine. Also used Data-Linc wireless RS232 between 2 FX2Ns without a hitch. Look at www.data-linc.com and look at the SRM6200 series for serial and SRM6310 for Ethernet. Quote
Steve Cheung Posted June 13, 2006 Author Report Posted June 13, 2006 (edited) Thanks Mike, I will check Westermo web. Edited June 13, 2006 by Steve Cheung Quote
Steve Cheung Posted June 13, 2006 Author Report Posted June 13, 2006 Hi Crossbow, Need we write additional ladder program to configure the ethernet module QJ71E71-100 or serial QJ71C24N module between Qs? For instance if the main Q PLC already have a connection to MMI through a hub, can the same QJ71E71-100 also link to our ethernet SRM6310 to communication with other ethernet SRM6310? Thanks & best regards Quote
