jester_ns Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 As you know the program keeps track of the last several files that have been opened. When you click on 'file' you will see these in decending order at the bottom. What I would like is to be able to clear this field. My problem is that I have to set my PC up for several people to use and problems may arise if someone selects the wrong file. Can it be done ? Quote
Guest anonymous Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Hello jester ns This cannot be cleared via CX-Programmer itself. However, there is a registry key that contains the recent file list. If you are comfortable with editing registry settings, then the folder "HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Omron \ CX-Programmer v6.11 \ Recent File List" can be deleted. This will clear the list. Disclaimer: I accept no responsibility for the destruction of mine or anyone elses registry settings... Hope this is of some help Regards anonymous Quote
jester_ns Posted June 20, 2006 Author Report Posted June 20, 2006 Thanks for the help, worked fine. Have played with the Regedit lots of times, not always good, but good lessons learned. Quote
