presario2100 Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 Hi all, I'm using S5 100U PLC, I have a ultrasonic sensor output signal 0~10Vdc connect to the S5 analog input module, in the program this analog input address was IW66. I'm using Step 5 ver6.3 programming software. So, how to read or show this IW value in the program. Anyone know about this ? really need your ppls help. Thanks! Quote

You then need to condition the bits, I haven't used S5 for ages, but I seem to remember that some status bits are in the value you get which you need to get rid of by bit shifting. http://support.automation.siemens.com/US/l...amp;treeLang=en is a site where lots of manual are kept, I'd search for analogue manuals and it will tell you.
