sandytay Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 May I know which are the providers for industrial timers and counters? Anyone have used Omron's timers and counters before? How is it different from other providers? Quote
naing Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Hi sandytay, There are tons of industrial timers and counters in many catagories. First, you should specify your need expressing type, range , control methods etc.,. Quote
panic mode Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Naing is right, you need to know what are you counting, how fast, type of signal etc. I've used Omron H7EC-NV on more than one occasion for simple part counter and they have version with background lighting, can go up to 10kHz etc. For panel mounting get flush mount bracket Y92F-75. For timers (Omron) I was using H3CR like H3CR-A8-DC24 with socket P3G-08. Not much of a difference with other products (usualy look and perform like clones). Things that can be different are voltage, time range, number of contacts etc. Pricewise they are similar too so buyng multifunction device is smart choice (just one part to remember or stock). Quote
