308guru Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 I have a brand new FX1S. I wasn't getting any outputs to actually turn on, so I stripped it and brought it back to it's simplest form. I have a 24V light connected between Y0 & COM 0. No other wires except for the Hot, Neutral, Ground. If I force Y0 on, the PLC clicks, and the output light on the top comes on. My light never comes on though. Is there any fusing inside? Am I doing someting wrong? Quote
Colin Carpenter Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 COM 0 is the common connection that feeds the voltage to the normally open relay contacts that Y0 operates. In other words, connect 24VDC+ to COM 0, then connect Y0 to one terminal of your light and the other terminal to 0VDC. Then operate the output and you should find it an illuminating experience ... assuming, of course, that your bulb is rated for 24 VDC. Quote
