mitsibushiman Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 (edited) Anyone know where i can find some easy to understand explanations of what an incremental encoder does and how it works, I have found literally tons of information on encoders but much of it is very technical in nature and i need to present the information to a person from a non-engineering background with no technical knowledge, any links or d/ls gratefully received. Cheers apologies mods, just realised this is in the wrong forum! Edited September 23, 2003 by mitsibushiman Quote
loosewire Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 I don't know what kind of information you have been finding but thought I would at least post this link to the BEI website. It is an encoder glossary with definitions on different types. Might help BEI Encoder Glossary Quote
