TimWilborne Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Look at the circled object in the bottom right hand corner of the picture. It is a little hard to make out, but it is a bolt that holds in the transformer that the arrow is pointing to. The bolt was loose and fell off, bouncing around the back of the circuit board and burning it up I have had this burn circuit boards up 3 times now. They need to fasten these bolts to the circuit board Quote
panic mode Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 that sure doesn't sound good. could it be that screws are short and go only into plastic posts? those tend to shatter easily... Quote
TimWilborne Posted September 12, 2006 Author Report Posted September 12, 2006 It is actually a bolt and nut that hold the transformer onto the circuit board. Needs a dab of lock tight or something Quote
BobLfoot Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Hopefully they are providing some sort of warranty on their faulty assembly work? Quote
TimWilborne Posted September 12, 2006 Author Report Posted September 12, 2006 The have worked with me but at this point I am dissatisfied with the product. I won't be purchasing anymore Quote
