presario2100 Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Did anyone know how to write PID controlling function by using PLC program, or where can download the sample program? I need to use the PID function to make tension control. Thanks. Quote
Crossbow Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Most PLCs have built in PID functions. Check the manuals for how the commands operate. Quote
waynes Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Hi, The instruction differs between the different ranges. Which PLC range are you using? FX2N System Q FX3U? Quote
waynes Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 (edited) Great, That helps. Follow this url to download the FX2N manual. Goto 5.9.8 (or page 248 of 468). The PID instruction is there with all of its parameters. I can send you some of my PLC code that has this instruction configured and working correctly. Edit: OK, I attached an example.
