The Company.An European Multinational with large ongoing projects in U.A.E. The Candidate:An Electrical/Instrumentation/Controls graduate Engineer with minimum 8 yrs of exp in the following areas: Location; Dubai :U.A.E. General skills and experiences: - College or University degree in electrical engineering, focus on automation technologies, - experiences in electrical installation, controls system design and programming, - experience in PLC and SCADA applications, - experience in PLC/SCADA system requirements evaluation, design, implementation, integration and commissioning, - experience in applications using large numbers of drives, logistical processes, particularly BHS, - experience in electrical installation, methods and supervision, - experience in evaluating EMC dependencies in a system, - experience in project management, - min. 6 years of professional experience in either electrical systems or controls systems design/applications Technical skills: - familiar with SIMATIC equipment and other Siemens A&D equipment, - familiar with SIMATIC STEP7 and optional packages and utilities, - familiar with SIMATIC WinCC, - familiar with SIMATIC NET communications (Asi, Profibus, Profinet, Industrial Ethernet), - familiar with other communication protocols and physics, point to point communication and bus communication, - familiar with applications for configuring drive controller (motor starter, motor soft starter, variable frequency controllers, servo drives), - familiar in evaluating and designing e-stop systems, - knowledge of other vendors and manufacturers of automation equipment (Rockwell, Schneider, Mitsubishi, GE Fanuc, ...) a plus, - certain level in handling of AutoCAD, - certain level in handling of EPLAN, Communication skills: - fluent in written and spoken English language, German is a plus - comfortable in presenting solutions and designs to a greater audience Additional skills: - knowledge in MS Access - application and programming level - familiar with MS Office applications - familiar with communication analysis tools, like sniffer, ethereal, wireshark, etc. Applicants are requested to send in their resumes with detailed work exp in areas mentioned above.
