PL7 Micro help needed

Hi folks... I'm in a bit of a pickle and wonder if anybody on here can help me ? I've lost my PL7 Micro disc and was wondering if anyone had a copy available. I still have the boxset with my serial/installation numbers but just don't have the disc Think i left it in an old laptop. Thanx in advance ps it was version 4.3

This is a request that should be handled through the local Schneider Electric office. Even if you have license numbers and are a valid owner, it's not legal to copy the CD. You should contact Schneider about a replacement or buy the latest version as 4.3 is out of date.

Thanks for the reply. I've already contacted Schneider UK and they tell me that my programs will not be compatable with the newer versions of PL7 Micro (V4.5) my only hope was getting an old installation disc from someone But it is good to see that the world still has some law abiding citizens it gives us all hope .....

You should be able to open your old programs in the new software. I still have some programs written in 3.3 which I can open in 4.4. The differences might come in the version of the OS installed on the PLC. Newer software adds support for newer processors and additional commands in updates OS on existing processors. I don't know why they would say you can't go forward. It's backwards that usually doesn't work.
