Hi, Has anyone interfaced the serial port on a 90-30 to a X10 setup inorder to control x10 devices from the PLC? Any information would help. Right now I have a "X10 PRO Powerflash Interface PSC01" for outputs and UM506 for inputs. This gets to be quite expensive and takes up lots of room on the wall. Thanks.

No I have not done this but it is not much different from reading a BC scanner , scale, or gauge, which I have done. X10 does not support the SNP protocol, AFAIK it is ASCII only. You can do this with a PCM301 and MegaBASIC, or use one of the VersaMax PLCs. Any VM port can be configured to send ASCII data out the port. A VersaMax Micro or Nano would work. Edited by RussB
