blue182 Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Does anybody know the configuration of the 5vdc power supply port on the E50 HMI used in Mitsi projects. All the E50 does is warn you that if you use the wrong configuration it will cause perminant damage. I would summise it is positive on the sheild side and negative on the pin but would like confirmation. Thanks. Quote
Crossbow Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Should be detailed in the E-Terminals installation manual. And when connected to the Mitsubishi PLCs like the FX series, it can get it's power right through the serial cable, no external supply needed. You might also want to look for the CAB DC24-5V cable Mitsubishi sells, as that converts that 5VDC plug to 24VDC terminals to connect to a standard 24VDC power supply. It says in the cable drawing. It's actually 5VDC on the shell and 0V on the pin. I just looked it up. Quote
