gravitar Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 Hello! I've recently started building panels that need to have small PC-board termination panels installed. Up till now, they've been mounting everything on threaded aluminum standoffs. My hope is to introduce them to DIN rail :) Do any of you have a source for DIN rail mounting brackets for PC boards? I found this company: www.gaurang.com But their brackets seem only to hold 108mm PC boards?! The ones I'm working with are 102mm square. Any suggestions? Quote
BobLfoot Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 No help on the mount front, just a word of caution, with the push for arc flash protection don't forget to cover those open boards with a clear lexan or other "flash" barrier. Quote
gravitar Posted November 14, 2006 Author Report Posted November 14, 2006 It's all for 0-10V analog signals.. Very little chance of arc flash! Quote
panic mode Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 we use Weidmuller, they have few nice options (open, close, terminal block etc.) SSB_L001_L026_Empty_housings_GB.pdf Quote
gravitar Posted November 15, 2006 Author Report Posted November 15, 2006 thank you! If I'm following their catalog, one of the choices is for a 100mm PCB. I should be able to make that work! Quote
panic mode Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 we used to buy RS70 a lot, very simple to use, pcb "length" is only about ~70mm but it can be as wide as you want to. RS80 and RS100 are just like that but can have clear cover and the "lengths" are 80 and 100mm Quote
IO_Rack Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 We use Altech DIP socket carriers. They come with a generically layed out printed circuit board. We cut traces and insert our components. I've never used their mounting track but that looks like what you are asking for. They also claim they will custom build. Quote
