I have Delta 12SA2 PLC it has RS232 port and I have connected it to kepserver (by Modbus serial) and then factory IO Now my problem is that when I connect my PLC to kepserver the RS232 port becomes busy with the kepserver and not available in the ISPSoft and therefore I could not demonstrate factory io and my logic in run mode in the isp soft together like you do in your videos. My PLC don't have ethernet port but is there an option in kepserver or any way by which i can use the same serial port of the PLC in isp soft run mode and kepserver+factory io together so that I can simultaneously show the logic running in isp soft and application working in factory io to my students. I googled a lot and found some softwares which make virtual serial ports for a given serial port but they don't work and soon hang Please help me I am in a great need of it. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I have Delta 12SA2 11T transistor type plc and I am confused about the output wiring, A video on youtube : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kW9AwN2fs4 says that we can connect UP to +24V and ZP to 0V for sinking outputs (NPN wiring) figure1 and the reverse i.e., connect UP to 0V and ZP to +24V for sourcing outputs (PNP wiring) figure2, please see the img.png attached here with. The first one is working ok but the second one not, when i connect UP to 0V and ZP to +24V for sourcing outputs (PNP wiring) figure2 then my indicator remains always ON no mater i trigger the output on or off The manual says that the PLC only has NPN transistors in the output inside the plc then how he in the video is showing both ways. Please help me to understand this. Thanks in advance.

Hi I just buy brand new 6ed1052-1md00-0ba8 (Logo 8) PLC and a USB-PPI logo cable from tradeindia.com, I am a embedded system hobbyist and fond of exploring embedded system things such as microcontrollers, FPGAs/CPLDs etc, but this time I want to try PLC. Now my problem is that I am a pure newbe to PLCs, I have a 12 V 1A DC adaaptor can I use it as PLC power supply? and input for switches? How to program my Ladder logic, function block to my plc using PLC Cable (USB) and Ethernet cable. ? Can I use Logosoft7 or only version 8 ? is my usb-ppi cable is useless, can i program my plc by my usb-ppi cable Please guide me how to get start with my PLC?, is there any step-by-step tutorial? because I googled tutorials, getting started but i am confused.
