Hallo my name is Danu, i have a CP1E wirh CP1W-CIF11 and connect to modbus RTU device, i have done with write single coil, write single register, read single register and read multiple register. But i try to write multiple register, the indicator of CP1W-CIF11 is off and if i check d memory its no data. I attached my cx programmer. Hello friends, I am an Omron PLC user, but have never used modbus before. I have to connect an Omron CP1L-m to Beckhoff bk7300 via modbus serial gateway. 2-wire RS-485 connection (CP1W-CIF11). I have seen an easy to use Modbus RTU master for CP1L CP1H CJ1 CJ2 CS1 but the examples are not for dual port CP1L-m. If I change the PLC model "CP1HCP1LModbusDualPort" to "CP1L-M", the compiler tells me a lot of warnings about variable types. Is Modbus RTU Master easy to use for CP1L CP1H CJ1 CJ2 CS1 compatible with CP1L-M dual port (port 2)? I have tried to use it but it didn't work, error 02, illegal function code. Somebody could help me? Thank you Enric

Hello to everyone. I hope you are doing well. I'm trying to establish a communication between my PC and my KINCO PLC. The manual states it supports MODBUS RTU protocol, so I downloaded two different Modbus Master simulator I found out: Multiway from OMRON and qModMaster. None of them seem to work properly. However, I could not find any block to configure as Modbus slave. I don't know what else I can do. I'm in trouble with this task. Am I making some mistake? Thanks for your attention. Kind regards!

Hallo, i want to connect PLC Omron CP1E to indicator weighing scale with modbusRTU connection and i have a CP1W-CIF11 module to connect indicator with CP1E. ,but I have no experience in RTU modbus communication in the PLC. How do i start? *i just need output: 1. Coil (Reference No = 0. Output bits) for input switch with address 3 (Tare). 2.Input Status (Reference No = 1) for output lamp with address 17 (stable) 3.Input register (Reference No = 3) to read data with address 5 (gross weight) 4. holding register (Reference No = 4) to write comparison data with address 17(over) page 85 - 94 in attachment ad4402_manual.pdf

Hello, I want to do communication between CJ2M-CPU35 and LS drives. I am new to Omron.I searched the manuals regarding protocol macro.but it's bit confusing for me.please send if anybody have the sample program and document so that I can do it.Please support. Hello everyone! Briefly introduction, I would like to communicate and test the following hardwares: 1- Omron CP1E (using an Option Port CP1W-CIF11) ; and 2- Arduino Nano using MAX485 RS485 transceiver. The CP1E will operate in "Modbus-RTU simple master" as illustrated in image 01. The arduino will be in slave mode address 1 and the library used is "SimpleModbus NG" ( https://github.com/angeloc/simplemodbusng/tree/master/SimpleModbusSlave ). Taking the sample in official manual ( https://industrial.omron.eu/en/services-support/technical-tools/downloads#cp1e ) , pages 248-253 in the "CP1E CPU Unit Software User's Manual" (Image 04) describes a sample communication to an "Inverter Slave". I want to use the Arduino Slave as the Inverter Slave just to be sure that all previous steps are correct. Therefore, I would like to know: 1- As illustrated in Image 02, Am I missing any resistors? 2- Should I connect the GND to the FG? 3- In this scenario, the DIP switch setup should be as illustrated in image 03? Only DIP4 is OFF. 4- Can I test it just forcing A641.00 and checking the DM Area Data, as shown in Image 05? Dear All Sorry for my English I have Siemens CM1241 (picture attach) and need to communicate with Intellisys XE 90 via Modbus RTU, period. The problem is, form XE 90 the connector is Phoenix Contact 2-Position Screw Plug Connectors MC 1,5/ 2-ST-3,81 1803578,or in other word, only 2 contacts form P9 COM1 = L1 , L2 (picture attach). How we connect it to DB9 Female in CM1241? What signal go to what Pin? How about the Ground? Do I need Resistor? Thanks for all your supports Best Regards

Good day all. I have a L-series PLC that I want to connect with via RTU network. I know that Mitsubishi has the ME-RTU unit. Have someone successfully used the L-series with ME-RTU comms yet? Would really appreciate some input.

I have the following situation; I have a distribution network connecting about 400 RTUs, using 101 protocol to connect to their PDH MUX, which data slot is transported using SDH STM-1/4, to the Primary Substations. Then the primary substations connect to the LDC building using STM-16. At the Control Centre Building where the Front End is located, there is a STM-16 node with some PDH ports, but definetly not 400, so how can I extract this 101 asyncronous data channels to connect them to the SCADA Front End? Note that conversion to 104 is not allowed by the client. Thanks in advance!
