Hi, I been trying to use TCP/IP for some testing on M251mesc plc for tcp/ip but somehow I can't find any manual to it. Need help on this thanks.

It's been quite the while since I have had to restore an SE network distributed application. I'm trying to get it restored in the distributed application manager but when it starts it fails. There's a log and it tells me "Unable to restor FactoryTalk Directory." Anybody run into this problem and have any solutions? Thanks.

Does anyone have any idea how to set up an OPC server in FactoryTalk SE for Excel? I'm trying to move data from a spread sheet to the PLC. Got it working in excel now I'm trying to initiate the transfer from SE.

Hi all, i'm creating a ComboBox using Visual Basics on Factory Talk View SE. My issue comes when i tried to add items to the ComboBox. But this items must be values from a P - Parameters List. How can i do this? I have a little code created but doesn't work. Anyone can help me? Thanks in Advanced PD: Here is my actual code. I am using FactoryTalk View Studio SE 8.20 to develop SCADA Application, and whenever I tried to open Tag Database it shows error "an error occurred while attempting to open the tag database editor" and not able to Open Tag database. Does anyone know solution for this? Error Screenshot Attached

Hi, i tried everything i know and what i saw in all forums possible, and i can't resolve that problem. So i came here hoping have anyone can make this "miracle" rsrs This is the problem... Have one application operating with FactoryTalk SE 5.00.00 (CPR 9) in plant made by other enterprise and we will insert a new area on system. So we backup the application coppying this 3 itens: - The file: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\ApplicationData\Rockwell\RNAServer\Global\Application.RNAD - And the folders: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\ApplicationData\Rockwell\RNAServer\Global\RnaStore\Application C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\RSView Enterprise\SE\HMI Projects\Application After i create a VM with Windows XP Professional and same name of existent server, install FactoryTalk SE and replace the file and folders in respectives locals. So i open FT and all most of things restored, but the graphics didn't. I tried add them manually, It appears that is loading, but in the end, no screen was added. Sorry for my english errors... I hope someone can help me.
