  1. In the Allen Bradley world or anything for that matter, there are other brands of things... Like Phoenix and Siemens... I use a NATR device. 1783-NATR is the part number for Allen Bradley. Or something like a FL MGUARD 1102 from Phoenix Contact. Basically you assign IP address in the company side of that NAT to the PLC address. For example there is a fixed IP assignment of 10.10.1.23 on the company side, then this NATR will translate that to 192.168.1.23 for example. So then it's as simple as VPN to the company network. Setting up your software to hit the ip address of 10.10.1.23 and your online with your PLC. Is this what you are looking for?

https://www.eventcreate.com/e/otscadacon25 Join us July 23 - 25! Come join us for an exciting event all about OT SCADA technology in Houston, TX! Dive into the world of operational technology (OT) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems with industry experts and fellow enthusiasts. Connect, learn, and network in person at this one-of-a-kind conference for the industrial automation community. #OTSCADACON is for controls people, maintenance people, technicians, and salespeople to learn all about operational technology and the world of SCADA. It's even for business owners to network! In 2024, we packed two days with short training sessions presented by independent SMEs who have a vetted track record of DOING in this field. We are still working on incorporating feedback from year 1 attendees, and one change we are making is adding a 3rd day so people can have an easier time traveling in/out and have a little more time for breaks and networking between sessions. We raffled/gave away over $50k worth of hardware, software, training, and swag to CON attendees in year 1 and plan to keep that going. Add to that the networking with a powerhouse roster of controls & automation folks - this event brings VALUE to every attendee! We will have some hardware to showcase and different brands used in our examples, as well as sponsors, but the event is vendor-neutral. LOCATION Houston, TX July 23, 2025, 8:00 AM - July 25, 2025, 5:00 PM

  8. Was it uploaded at in the downloads? I might have a BACKUP of it I can restore. Where did that link come from a Topic or a Download? edit: Download ----> when I get home later tonight, I will see if I can recover a backup of it. I have ran across a few corrupt files.
  9. Attached is your PDF. Whoever wrote this program, did an EXCELLENT job! Kudos to that person. WF20-V3.5.0.0.pdf
  10. Send me a PM if you need help updating anything. I got the back door keys back to the website, so I can help out.
  11. I just wanted everyone to know that if you are logging into the board with your display name, (like me LOL), this will be disabled soon. So make sure you switch to using your email that you have registered with your account soon or test it out and make sure you are okay logging in. Soon this will go away to tighten down security on the board.
  12. Your words are no joke...it was almost dead for sure.
  13. To troubleshoot this, I would do a SAVE AS with your project. Then delete all the I/O for that input card and do your best to patch up the program. Then download the project back in and see what happens. To see if the program is some kind of execution or a hardware issue. I dunno that's what I would try if it was me.
  14. View File Allen Bradley PLC Ladder - Panel View - Cognex Camera - Yamaha SCARA Here is an application where everything is sequenced in an Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLC using ladder logic. The Cognex camera is talking Ethernet/IP to the PLC, and the PLC is using Yamaha’s RCX340 AOIs (add-on instructions) to move the robot around. This vision guided application is very simple with the Cognex camera sending real world tool center data calibrated from the cameras Insight spreadsheet program directly via Ethernet/IP to the PLC tag registers. The source code includes the Cognex job file, Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLC version 24, Panel View 1000 version 10, and the Yamaha RCX340 backup .ALL file. A complete source code download shows how to integrated everything together. Submitter Chris Elston Submitted 12/26/2024 Category PLC Sample Code
