Trouble with FX3U PLC Program Upload to GX Works2

Hi everyone,

I am having an issue when trying to upload a program from my Mitsubishi FX3U PLC using GX Works2. Every time I attempt to upload, I keep getting an error message saying “PLC type mismatch” or sometimes “Cannot communicate with PLC.” I have double-checked the connection and made sure the correct COM port is selected in the software.

Here’s what I have tried so far:

Verified that I’m using the correct USB driver.
Double-checked the communication settings (baud rate, parity, stop bits).
Made sure the PLC is in "STOP" mode before attempting the upload.

Despite all this, I am still not able to upload the program. Has anyone experienced a similar issue or could point out something I might be missing: ?? Any tips on resolving this would be greatly appreciated !!

For context, I am using GX Works2 version 1.98 and the FX3U is connected via USB-SC09 cable. I have also read this thread https://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?/topic/44019-fx3u-with-gx-works2-or-gx-developer-no-tensorflow-ip-change-possible/ but couldn't get enough solution.

Thanks in advance !!

Looking forward to any advice or suggestions!

Regards,

Derek Theler
