derekk Posted September 26, 2024 Report Posted September 26, 2024 Hi everyone, I am having an issue when trying to upload a program from my Mitsubishi FX3U PLC using GX Works2. Every time I attempt to upload, I keep getting an error message saying “PLC type mismatch” or sometimes “Cannot communicate with PLC.” I have double-checked the connection and made sure the correct COM port is selected in the software. Here’s what I have tried so far: Verified that I’m using the correct USB driver. Double-checked the communication settings (baud rate, parity, stop bits). Made sure the PLC is in "STOP" mode before attempting the upload. Despite all this, I am still not able to upload the program. Has anyone experienced a similar issue or could point out something I might be missing: ?? Any tips on resolving this would be greatly appreciated !! For context, I am using GX Works2 version 1.98 and the FX3U is connected via USB-SC09 cable. I have also read this thread https://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?/topic/44019-fx3u-with-gx-works2-or-gx-developer-no-tensorflow-ip-change-possible/ but couldn't get enough solution. Thanks in advance !! Looking forward to any advice or suggestions! Regards, Derek Theler Quote

d4rkm4n Posted September 27, 2024 Report Posted September 27, 2024 Hi, Does it work before? If it does, try reinstall the driver and GXWorks2 application. Happened to me before. Quote
