ONE SINGLE BUTTON TO COMPLETE PROCESS ON EACH AND EVERY RUNG

I have sequence to follow and are to be controlled through single PB.

1) I Press the button it completes the process and jump to next step ....Waits until i press button again

2) I Press the button again it completes the process and jump to next step ....Waits until i press button again

 

What is Happening is When I press the button It is so fast that it reaches to process complete.

At the end of each rung, include an unlatch for your button. It will fix your problem :)

i did but that doesn't work in Rockwell. I do the same when i encounter similar condition in omron..I have did it another way now that works

On each branch where you move a new value into StepNo add an OTL of a new Tag called NewStepFlag.

Put an XIO of NewStepFlag at the start of each rung.

Then at the end of ladder file put and XIO of the Pushbutton and an OTU of NewStepFlag.
