  1. Sure. DO you want tu use the simple motion mode ? Define it as RD78G4(S) in GX Works 3 https://www.mitsubishielectric.com/fa/service-support/global/e-learning/pdf/eng/4-SIMPLE_MOTION_Module_iQ-R_na_eng.pdf This is the e-learnign Here you can find them all https://www.mitsubishielectric.com/fa/service-support/global/e-learning/eng.html
  2. You don't need the FB. The FX5 support modbus by just setting parameters Client and server. For a Client you can use the simple PLC communication settings.
  3. Yes but that had more to do with the super long timeout before closing the port automatically, But if you change the default setting that should be less of an issue. But like you mentioned with UDP you avoid that all together. In this case it's getting wrong (old) data.
  4. I doubt it's a melsec issue if you reset the window service and it's working correctly again.
  5. https://www.mitsubishielectric.com/fa/service-support/global/e-learning/index.html Here is some free training on mitsubishi equipment
  6. You can't you can only use the simulators or USB or RS232. However if you install Soft GOT you can make this connection AND be able to run your project for half an hour sessions
  7. You're right i just checked it's 7.52
  8. Are you using 7.53 of e-designer ?
  9. Does it have the same behaviour if you make a new project with one screen and download that ?
  10. haha i think they mean 8 RJ61 modules not the remote I/O.. That makes sense it was the same with the system Q
  11. you should be able to set it to a 1.5 version in the setup
  12. you mean a rj61bt11 right? you can set more than 8 in the parameters... where did you read that ?
  13. Check your application and see if you have selected terminal with version 1.5. You should have gotten a message when downloading if the versions we're different Latest version of E-designer is 7.53
  14. cost are not so high in NL 500 euro for all programming software plc hmi robot motion drives etc. there should be a satelite training for HMI aswell iI'll see if i can find the link.
  15. I agree for the network i would go for an HMS gateways to keep it simple. As for the controller I would suggest using an Mitsubishi FX5S there are not expensive support modbus TCP/IP to connect to the HMS gateways and also connection to many plc brands via the standard ethernet port. Also they have free e-learnings to get you started and offer free phone support. https://www.mitsubishielectric.com/fa/service-support/global/e-learning/index.html I would makethen sense to also use one of their HMI's
  16. You can still delete data without initializing the controller. online delete plc data Also if it would be a firmware issue you can update the firmware of the FX5
  17. There is no such limitartion, have you tried initialiisng the plc ? Also you can check the memory size from the tools menu
  18. Are you sure it's a file for GX Developer and not GX IEC Developer ?
  19. the settings mentioned seems good. Can you post your projects ? No PLC code needed and just one screen with SM412 (blinking dev) for instance
  20. Sounds like you have communication. Couls it be that your are trying to access some Devices that don't exist in the PLC. Like fileregisters for instance ?
  21. Can you be more specific all info is in the manual how to use this instruction
  22. If you change to an Q03UDVyou could than use simple CPU Comm whihc is really easy to set-up If not you still have some options. Fixed buffer comms - pre defined protocol SLMP - Dedicated intsructions Ethernet card Which one are yopu trying to set-up. Also if you have a GOT connected and comms don't need to be fast you can use the GOT to exchange the data
  23. I have done Safety with CC Link IE Field so if you have any questions let me know
  24. Does the fanuc support CC-link ie field safety or just ie field ?
