Hi I have a s7-300 (315-2DP) and I want to put a FM350 with an incremental encoder to know the machine speed at one zone. What is the easy way to setting the FM350 for that?. Can work only with the db of udt type without FCs? Reading direct from the db the actual value for encoder, is the unique data that I need, machine speed. The encoder is a 5v incremental, 3000 pulses. The DB reading have to be change to get rpm?. Sorry for my english and for the newbie question. Best regards, Juan.
