CP1L PLC CPU password protected!

I have received one CP1L PLC CPU for troubleshooting. It is password protected. Is there any way to solve it and backup the program? if no, is there any way to reset everything.?Regards,

The only way to get the program out of the PLC is to contact Omron.  If they determine that you own the rights to the code inside the PLC, then they may be able to crack the password for you.

However, I believe that you can download a new project onto the PLC and the protection will be removed.

Never used protection, but I believe you are right, unless this option was checked:
